Our approach

We use as few cookies as we can. We do not use advertising, remarketing, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share your browsing behaviour with advertisers.

The only non-essential technology on this site is Google Analytics, and it does not store anything on your device unless you say yes.

Strictly necessary cookies — always on

• These make the site work, so we do not ask consent for them: without them the site cannot do what you asked it to.
• plc_consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask again. Set by us. Lasts 182 days.
• Quote cart storage — remembers the parts you added to your quote cart. Set by us. Lasts until you clear it.
• Session and sign-in cookies — keep you signed in to your account and protect against request forgery. Set by us. Last for the session, or until you sign out.
• Cloudflare security cookies — bot and threat protection on our forms and across the site. Set by Cloudflare. Up to 30 minutes for the form check, or as Cloudflare sets.

Analytics cookies — only with your consent

• _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count visits. Set by Google Analytics. Lasts 2 years.
• _ga_<container-id> — maintains the analytics session state. Set by Google Analytics. Lasts 2 years.

Nothing is written before you agree

We use Google Consent Mode v2 in advanced mode. The Google tag loads with analytics storage denied, so before you make a choice it sends cookieless signals only and writes nothing to your device.

The advertising signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization — are permanently denied and never granted, because we do not run advertising. If that ever changes it will be a separate choice, asked separately, and we will ask everyone again.

Your choices

• When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Accept and Decline carry equal weight — declining is exactly as easy as accepting, and you are not penalised for it.
• To change your mind at any time, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately and stops analytics storage.
• We will ask again after 182 days, or sooner if we change what we use.
• You can also control cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the quote cart and sign-in from working.

Third parties named in this policy

• Google Analytics 4 — website measurement. Google may process data outside Australia, including in the United States. See policies.google.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare — content delivery, security and bot protection. Cloudflare processes requests on a global network. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Stripe — payments. Stripe sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout pages, governed by stripe.com/privacy.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

This site does not currently respond automatically to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Because analytics storage is denied by default and only enabled by an affirmative choice, a visitor who takes no action gets the same outcome as opting out.
