1.
Product Introduction
This product is a highly integrated training kit specifically designed for industrial automation electrical control and network communication teaching. The kit uses the dual AB series PLC (850) as the core control unit, deeply integrating touch screen human-machine interaction, sensor data collection (temperature and humidity, weight, liquid level), low-voltage electrical control, and visual indication systems. Through preset training scenarios such as PLC master-slave communication, the coordination control between the touch screen and the PLC, and the analog quantity collection of multiple sensors, it constructs a complete industrial control miniature model from "element-level cognition" to "system-level debugging". It not only can vividly demonstrate the core logic of equipment interconnection and data exchange in industrial sites, but also reserves sufficient secondary development interfaces, making it an ideal platform for training students' PLC programming, industrial communication protocols, and system integration capabilities.
Core Strengths
Combining both soft and hard elements, integrating virtual and real aspects: The equipment not only includes real physical buttons, indicator lights and sensors, but also builds a virtual control interface through the touch screen. Trainees can simultaneously compare and verify the control logic of "physical hard wiring" and "software configuration", deeply understanding the underlying implementation of human-computer interaction.
Deep dissection, standard integration
Adopting the "one screen, dual control" architecture, it clearly demonstrates the independent communication paths between the touch screen and the two PLCs, as well as the cross-device linkage mechanism between the two PLCs. The system integrates Modbus, Ethernet communication, and analog quantity acquisition technology, helping trainees penetrate the surface of communication protocols and master the core principles of industrial buses.
Safety closed loop, industrial gene
Strictly adhering to industrial safety standards, standard equipment includes fuses, emergency stop buttons, and alarm linkage mechanisms (alarm lights, mute, reset). The training process not only replicates the operational habits of the industrial site but also ensures high safety of the teaching experiments through physical isolation and protective components..
Diverse scenarios, boundless expansion
Covering various process scenarios such as on-off control, analog quantity acquisition (voltage/weight/liquid level/temperature/humidity), logic interlock, array display, etc. The hardware interface is open, allowing trainees to independently write complex logic (such as custom running lights, pattern editing), meeting the needs from basic understanding to innovative design at all stages.
Learning outcomes
This kit supports a step-by-step experimental teaching approach ranging from basic to advanced levels. Specifically, it can be divided into the following four categories:
Hardware cognition and basic electrical control
1.Understanding of electrical components and wiring: Identify components such as fuses, emergency stop buttons, relays, power supplies and sensors, and master the reading of electrical schematic diagrams and proper wiring.
2. Motor/indicator light point-and-lock control: Utilize buttons and indicators (yellow/white) to design the basic logic control circuit, and understand the physical characteristics of PLC input/output ports.
PLC Communication and Collaborative Control
1. Dual PLC master-slave station communication: Through experiments, the "button cross-control indicator light" function was verified, and the data mapping, communication protocol configuration, and I/O data exchange mechanism between the two PLCs were deeply understood.
2. Touchscreen and PLC communication: Control the corresponding indicator lights of the PLC through the virtual buttons on the touchscreen. Practice the use of HMI configuration software, master variable association, screen design and communication parameter settings.
Human-computer interaction and visual system
1. Array lamp cycle control: Triggered by the touch screen, it controls 12 indicator lamps (6 yellow + 6 white) to achieve sequential cycle lighting. Application of learning shift register and timer in industrial assembly line status indication.
2. Custom pattern (such as arrows) display: Utilize the touchscreen recipe or script function to achieve arbitrary pattern mapping (such as arrows, stars) for the 12 indicator lights, mastering matrix output control and character/position conversion logic.
3. Single-point position control: Through the "soft button" on the touchscreen, precisely control the on/off state of a specific designated indicator light, enhancing the point-to-point communication accuracy between the HMI and PLC.
Sensor data acquisition and monitoring
1. Analog input acquisition: Using potentiometers in conjunction with voltmeters, understand the conversion principle of analog quantities (0-10V/4-20mA), and learn the hardware wiring and program scaling processing of the PLC analog module.
2. Multi-parameter monitoring of temperature, humidity, weight, and liquid level: Collect data from transmitters and display trend curves or values in real time on the touch screen. The training content includes sensor calibration, range conversion, data filtering, and setting alarm thresholds (such as triggering an alarm light when the liquid level exceeds the limit).
Integrated system integration and secondary development
1. Alarm linkage mechanism design: Utilizing trigger conditions such as emergency stop buttons and liquid level upper limits, design audible and visual alarms (alarm lights turn on), fault records (historical alarms on touch screen), and reset/silence logic. Learn state machine programming.
2. Cross-system comprehensive linkage: Combine weight sensor with PLC communication logic to design a "weight sorting" simulation program (for example, when the weight meets the standard, trigger the specified color indicator light to light up and prompt through the touch screen).
3. Customized function development: Utilizing open hardware interfaces and software platforms, trainees can independently design complex functions (such as: automatically controlling virtual fans based on temperature and humidity, exporting reports from touch screen memory cards, etc.), achieving innovative training.
Application scenario
1. Universities and vocational schools: Suitable for the integrated theory-practice teaching of courses such as "Programmable Controller Technology", "Industrial Network and Configuration Technology", "Fieldbus Application Technology" etc. for related majors like automation, mechatronics integration, and Internet of Things.
2. Pre-job training for enterprise employees: Used for new employees to quickly master the AB series PLC, especially for skills training on communication principles, touch screen configuration, and common sensor debugging.
3. Competitions and certifications: Can be used as a training platform for PLC programming, system debugging, and fault troubleshooting competitions, simulating real assessment scenarios.
4. Technical research and testing: Engineers can use this platform to conduct communication protocol verification, control logic prototype design, and stability testing of sensor data collection.
